A great deal of our queries relate to local issues of disinfection, employee regulations and work practices. In many countries leptospirosis is a notifiable infection, meaning that cases must be reported to the national disease control agencies. Local and national government policies will define how an employee/employer must deal with infection risks, and you should seek advice via those routes first, as we cannot guarantee that we will be familiar with the rules in your local area.
